Karawynn Long is an award-winning author of speculative short fiction and poetry. Her stories are character-focused and her protagonists (not coincidentally) are often disabled or neurodivergent.
Karawynn’s “past lives” included careers as a graphic designer and a proofreader. With her partner Jak Koke she co-managed a speculative fiction small press in the 2000s.
In 2013 she and Jak moved from Seattle to central Mexico, where they now live together with a talking dog, a variable number of cats, and an ever-expanding vegetable garden and subtropical food forest.
Karawynn always has way too many projects in progress, and sometimes she actually finishes one. She is writing her debut novel, a second-world epic fantasy.
