Because I find surveillance capitalism alarming, and enshittified social media maddening, I have been changing how I interact with Big Tech. Here is the current status:
I still have an old Facebook account, but I no longer use it and cannot reliably be contacted there. Same for my short-lived Instagram account featuring Tashi the talking dog. I deleted my Twitter account when Musk took over. Nowadays I can, very occasionally, be found on Mastodon or Bluesky.
My general public email is (unimaginatively enough) “public” at this domain. If you have a former Gmail address for me, be aware that I no longer use Gmail and am unlikely to ever see anything that is sent there.
I am available to people I know on Signal. I won’t accept out-of-the-blue Signal messages from strangers, but you can always email me first to inquire about a chat.
